I have been designing / developing websites for approximately four years, specialising in websites for individuals, families and small businesses.
I am familiar with W3C standards, SEO and OOP techniques.
I launched my company ‘NBM Web Designs’ in 2006.
I always design in code, mostly using Dreamweaver for its convenience (FTP, file manager, PHP/CSS supported – a great all-in-one application) although I am also familiar with Bluefish (using FileZilla for FTP) running on an Ubuntu OS.

Previous Work Experience

Excalibur Distribution 2008 - Present Web Developer (F/T)

One of 2 web developers working under the banner of Excalibur Studio further developing mini-site websites including foneshop.ie, mobile-cases.co.uk. Now expanded to take on work from external clients. All sites are e-commerce and work purely as php developer.

Youngman Group 2004 - 2007 Welder / Cell-leader (P/T)

Production Welding and Acting Cell Leader. Organise working schedules and taking charge of night shift employees.

Colchester Institute 2002 - 2003 Tutor - New Deal (P/T)

Tutoring the ‘New Deal’ course, working with unemployed men and woman to help them back into employment.

2001 Successfully completed City & Guilds 730 Further & Adult Teaching Certificate Stage 1.

2000 Successfully completed a Computer & IT course at the Colchester Institute.

1995 B-Tec OND Electrical Engineering.

1992 7 GCSE's including Maths and English.

Interests - Long distance cycling for leisure. Motorbike racing.
